A talk given by Mary Ann Prior on Constance Villiers Stuart 1876 - 1966
About 50 members visited the Arboretum and walled garden on Wednesday 7th September, 2016. The gardens were kindly opened for us by the owners, Tony and Caroline Keene.
In spite of a very close and grey afternoon we all enjoyed wandering through the arboretum, helped by the plans we had been given and trees that were labelled! The pretty walled gardens were still filled with colour and, after all the walking, a rest with tea and cake on the lawn by the lovely flower beds ended the afternoon well.
