Sandringham House - Grade II*

 

H M the Queen's private Norfolk residence. Landscape park largely developed from the 1860's with two large lakes, large artificial rock works, cave, and summer house. Gardens much augmented in 20th century. Formal garden by Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe with herbaceous beds bordered with avenues of pleached limes. Elaborate wrought iron entrance gates; seperate walled kitchen gardens can also be viewed.
