Bawburgh Hall

17th century on. 17th century small Banqueting House and ornamental pigeon house. Fragements of original garden walls. Repton work.

Elsing Hall

Beautiful 15th century moated manor house surrounded by romantic garden. Large collection of old-fashioned roses. Arboretum, knot garden, wild flower lawn, stew pond.

Kelling Hall

Arts and Crafts design by Edward Maufe,1912. Main terraces facing north towards the sea, with tennis and bowling areas, pool, Prunus avenue, flint bridge. Undulating woodland with series of pools and scant remains of an earlier house.

Kirby Cane Hall

17th century on walled gardens, brick 17th century Banqueting House - two storeys with castellation. Parkland.

Larchwood

From 1960's on. Important 120 acre arboretum; developed in conjunction with Talbot Manor in nearby Fincham by Maurice Mason.

Crown Point

Whitlingham, Norwich -formal garden from 1866. Splendid aisled 19th century conservatory - probably designed by H E Coe, completed by Edward Boardman. Yew topiary, croquet lawn. Parkland.

Rougham Hall

Best preserved 17th century landscape in Norfolk. Great avenue of lime trees from the 1690's leading to the hall, was nearly a mile long. The tree planting recorded in John Evelyn's diary. Grove of Sweet Chestnuts. Large hexagonal brick, flint and thatched dovecote by Sir Roger North, early 18th century.

Ryston Hall

17th century on. Original layout possibly by Sir Roger Pratt, 6 acres. 19th century layout round house. Arboretum begun in late 19th century. part of park now a golf course. Woodland walks, walled kitchen garden, rock garden with pool, orangery, Victorian grotto in area of demolished conservatory. Kett's Oak in park, possibly from mid-13th century.
