Rainthorpe Hall - Grade II
From 1503. 5 acres. Mature trees; medieval nuttery, knot garden of box, collection of bamboos. Yew hedges; two terraces, (upper enclosed by walls) with steps and lawns stretching down to the river Tas. Rectangular pool, now a lily pool, probably 16th century Fish stew. new Conservation lake. Walled kitchen garden.Ha-ha. Kitchen garden, 19th century Greenhouse 1879 by Harvey.
Raveningham Hall - Grade II
Raynham Hall - Grade II
From 1619. Extensive parkland, much of it under the plough. Lake from 1724 on edge of park, remains of former house. St. Mary's church forms part of landscape; land slopes towards the river Wensum; Kitchen garden layout in form of a truncated triangle; ha-ha; earlier extensive formal gardens gone, expect for formal SW avenue extending on sloping ground to, and beyond the lake; shrubbery and mature trees.
The Rosary Cemetery, Norwich
Laid out in 1819, The Rosary was the first Nonconformist municipal cemetery to be created in England. Mortuary Chapel by Edward Boardman 1879, the sloping site has interesting 19th century monuments and mature planting along its many walks and paths.
Salle Park - Grade II
18th century onwards parkland, orangery in east wing of house - early 20th century, walled kitchen garden, ice house, dovecote in park, ha-ha, 20th century topiary garden with axial avenue of clipped yews -150 metres long.
Kimberley House - Grade II*
14th century onwards. 18th century landscape park, large lake with islands and woods by Capability Brown. Walled 18th century kitchen gardens, ice house, river Tiffey flows through park, formal garden to SW of house with bedding, yews and balustrade - the latter possibly by Salvin, shrubbery.
Langley Park - Grade II
18th century on. Capability Brown work in the park. Kitchen garden. Victorian shrubbery. Ice house, ha-ha, 19th century formal garden with raised terrace and steps, circular pool and fountain, 19th century arboretum. Arboretum continued in 20th century. Hall now used as a school, grounds adapted for its use. The school has the plan by Capability Brown, dated 1765.
Lexham Hall - Grade II
Lynford Hall - Grade II
18th century onwards. Parkland. Complex formal gardens laid out 1856 - 61 to designed by William Andrews Nesfield and William Burn. Basic frame work remains, including large parterre on terrace below house, fountain garden, semicircular bastion, terraces. Grand Wellingtonia avenue planted in the 1860's. Walled kitchen garden. Stream dammed to form canal, the Long Water and lake with islands and bridge. 18th century Temple of Mercury. 19th century urns and sculpture. arboretum.
Mannington Hall - Grade II
Melton Constable Hall - Grade II*
From 17th century onwards. Vast axial avenue layout replaced in 18th century Park, lake, formal south and west terraces, walled kitchen gardens, Capability Brown laid out park 1764-69, now much altered. Brown's lake - 8 hectares in extent; 17th century Bath House as Sham Castle Gothicised by Brown. Italianate terraces round house with balustrades, steps and urns, from 1845-50. Central fountain in octagonal pool. Two surviving Fish Ponds from an early design.
Mile Cross Gardens, Norwich - Grade II
Public Park. Laid out under the supervision of Capt. A Sandys-Winsch in 1920's. A pair of gardens, of one acre, the one the mirror image of the other. Oval bowling greens, stone and timber pergolas, dry stone retaining walls for shrubs, each garden has a classical pavilion.
Narford Hall - Grade II
18th century onwards. 60 acre lake with bridge created in 19th century, temple, parkland, St Mary's church forms a visual element; plan of original formal gardens illustrated in Colen Campbell's 'Vitruvius Britannicus', 1725. Walled kitchen garden.

18/19th century parkland; gardens remodelled by Robert Weir Schultz in 1900's. Ice house, walled kitchen garden -1812; River Wissey flows through grounds, dammed to form a lake; ha-ha; Chinese garden with tea house, lantern, bridge over river; double herbaceous borders; yew hedged sunken garden; gazebo; dovecote.
